Description:
SHS prepreg is a Class H (180°C) heat-resistant insulation prepreg, with the standard model being 6453. It is made by impregnating a composite substrate of polyimide film + polyester fiber nonwoven fabric with a special modified epoxy resin and undergoing B-stage semi-curing. Its core application is in the interlayer insulation of Class H dry-type transformer foil coils, combining insulation, bonding, and structural reinforcement functions. After thermal curing at 120–150°C, it forms a high-strength overall insulation layer.
