The dispensing DMD is a Class F insulating material. It is produced by applying a modified epoxy adhesive in a diamond-like pattern on the surface of DMD (a three-layer composite insulating paper) and curing it through the B-stage process. It can be further heated and cured for bonding. Its core application lies in the interlayer/interturn insulation of transformers and the wrapping of copper and aluminum flat wires. It possesses insulation, bonding, and oil and gas venting capabilities.
